In February 2026, JS Auto Cast Foundry India Private Limited (JSA), 100% wholly owned stepdown subsidiary of Bharat Forge Limited and a leading supplier of critical ferrous castings for industrial and automotive applications, has successfully raised equity of Rs. 300 crore (US$ 33.95 million) from Premji Invest (PI) by way of primary infusion into the company. PI will hold 23% stake on a fully diluted basis post the infusion.
In January 2026, Bharat Forge Limited Aerospace Division has achieved a significant milestone in India’s defence modernisation journey by securing contracts worth approximately Rs. 300 crore (US$ 33.95 million) under the ongoing Emergency Procurement – VI (EP-VI) framework. Bharat Forge signed a Rs. 453 crore (US$ 53 million) transfer agreement with Kalyani Strategic Systems to strengthen its defence sector capabilities.
Bharat Forge is collaborating with Pratt & Whitney to establish a state-of-the-art aerospace ring mill in India, aiming to enhance capabilities for both domestic and international aerospace programmes. The facility is expected to be operational by 2026, reinforcing Bharat Forge's commitment to advancing India's position in global aerospace manufacturing.
On March 27, 2025, Bharat Forge Limited inked the largest domestic contract of 184
indigenously developed Artillery Systems with the Ministry of Defense. This accounts to 60% of the Rs. 6,900 crore (US$ 819 million) procurement by the MOD. The Advanced Towed Artillery Gun System (ATAGS) jointly developed with DRDO is the most advanced 155/52 mm calibre artillery system.
