The statement further noted that the EFTA states aim for Rs. 9.63 lakh crore (US$ 100 billion) in investment in India, leading to one million direct jobs, and that connectivity efforts will continue through the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor. Together, these developments show that the India-Nordic partnership is moving beyond symbolic diplomacy into a more strategic, technology-led and economically linked framework.
